Inspired by vintage hunting illustrations and the wild moments happening on the prairie (and my backyard), this glass captures a dachshund in pursuit of a rabbit as a pheasant rushes through the wild flowers and a deer leaps through the grasses—a magical snapshot of nature doing its thing.

Each rocks glass is screen printed with my original illustration. While consistency is important to me, every print has its own subtle character, so color registration may be off slightly from glass to glass. You can trust that each piece is made with care and attention to detail.

  • Use + Care

Use it, display it, bring it to show-and-tell, or snap a photo to share on Instagram. All pieces aredishwasher safe, though many collectors prefer the general rule of thumb: handmade = hand wash.Light microwaving is also fine. What is light microwaving? Like 30 seconds, because the work is terracotta which is porous and can contain moisture in the clay water even when dry on the surface.

Ido not recommend pouring boiling water into mugs, as the majolica glaze lining the interior is sensitive to extreme temperature changes. Sudden thermal shock can place stress on the low-fire clay and glaze, which may lead to cracking over time. Ceramics are durable, but they aren’t indestructible.

Of course if your order doesn't seem right, do get in touch. I'm a human on the other side of this screen and will help troubleshoot anything that may come up. catiemillerceramics@gmail.com

  • Photo = Product Likeness

As a one-person-business, I do my best to balance creating quality products with photographing and listing each piece. Each piece is a labor of love, time, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Work is often created in multiples of the same design and one of the series is photographed. The photo of the item is an example of what you will receive, but will likely not be a photo of the exact item. I do strive to create very consistent products from batch to batch and appreciate the slight variations handmade creates. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
