Dainty bug and floral earrings are a great way to add a pop of uniqueness to your look and make a statement without being too loud.
These ceramic statement earrings showcase a glimpse of my process and illustrations. Each earring is made with the same transfer technique used to make all my work.
The ear hooks are made of 14k Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver, which I have found to work great with my sensitive skin and ears. A shiny glaze covers the front of the earrings. The reverse of the earring has areas of rich, bare, red clay. The paired patterns coordinate, but do not match exactly on each earring. Each pair will be carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival.

Use + Care
Use it, display it, bring it to show-and-tell, or snap a photo to share on Instagram. All pieces aredishwasher safe, though many collectors prefer the general rule of thumb: handmade = hand wash.Light microwaving is also fine. What is light microwaving? Like 30 seconds, because the work is terracotta which is porous and can contain moisture in the clay water even when dry on the surface.
Ido not recommend pouring boiling water into mugs, as the majolica glaze lining the interior is sensitive to extreme temperature changes. Sudden thermal shock can place stress on the low-fire clay and glaze, which may lead to cracking over time. Ceramics are durable, but they aren’t indestructible.

As a one-person-business, I do my best to balance creating quality products with photographing and listing each piece. Each piece is a labor of love, time, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Work is often created in multiples of the same design and one of the series is photographed.
